SALON ETIQUETTE

We strive to provide excellent service, please take a moment to read over our policies. If there are any questions please feel free to contact our stylist or the salon.

CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY

We understand life happens, however we ask that you reschedule or cancel at least 24hrs prior to your appointment.  If cancellations happen within the 24hr period, 50% of your service will be charged to your card you have on file. If you wish to rebook for a new point a new deposit will be made to secure appointment. If you cancel more than 2 times a new deposit will need to be made. If this is a reoccurring issue and you, that you are constantly rescheduling and miss appointments your style has the right to refuse your future services.

REFUND POLICY

At Cara Mia Salon, we do  NOT offer refunds of any kind. If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with your service, please notify Cara Mia within a 7 days of your appointment and we will accommodate to the best of our ability.

NO CALL, NO SHOW

If you do not call/text to cancel/reschedule & do not show up to your appointment date and time, YOU will be charged 50% of your services that you were originally scheduled for. If you no call or no show 2 times we reserve the right to refuse future services at our salon.

SALON ETIQUETTE

Cara Mia Salons stylist strive to accommodate your wishes for your service. During each service a consultation will be had to direct the service. Each stylist will educate client on service and both will agree on the end result. We strive to have open conversations and be 100% transparent during your appointment time. Please understand that not all hair is equal. The inspiration pictures you bring in to show your stylist may not be achievable in one or two sessions. Sometimes it takes multiple sessions. Or the hair cut you like may not accommodate the type of hair texture, thickness, etc. We are here to educate and do our best to achieve your hair goals, but this is a process. We like to provide a positive, safe environment to open conversations about your hair journey. If this can ’t be achieved and there is hostility or stylist and other clients feel threatened we reserve the right to refuse future services.

CONFIRMATION CALLS/TEXTS/EMAILS

At Cara Mia Salon we value your time and our stylists time. Confirmations texts are sent out a few days prior to your appointment. Giving you a grace period to reschedule your appointment if need be.  If confirmation of your appointment is not done within 48 hrs of appointment time your appointment will be canceled.

DEPOSITS

Deposits are required to secure your appointment time slot and protect the stylist. Deposits will need to be done when scheduling your appointment. If a deposit is not made within 24 hours than an appointment will not be scheduled. All deposits are transferrable to service or transferrable up to one time. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the salon.

TIMING FOR YOU APPOINTMENT

Please a lot sufficient time to accommodate your appointment at our salon. We strive to provide the best service, but understand some services are longer than others. Appointment such as, blonding, highlights, refresh of color, etc can take up to 2-3+ hours. To ensure quality work we would need a certain amount of time to provide a successful service. If you have questions about services please contact your stylist or the salon to further answer your questions.

CREDIT CARD REQUIRED

A credit card will be required to be kept on file to schedule any appointment. We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or make any changes to an appointment. In the case that 24 hours notice is not given for a cancellation/rescheduling your credit card will be charged 50% of the services that was scheduled. No Call/No shows will be charged 50% of the service that was scheduled.

CONSULTATION

If you are a new client we require a consultation before your visit, which could be scheduled in person or over the phone. This will include a conversation over your hair history (have you colored your hair before, used any box dye, etc.), and conversation on your hair goals. 


Before every appointment we will hold a conversation to come up with a game plan for your service. We will not start your hair until we are both on the same page on what can be achievable for current service.

REDO

A consultation is required before any redo or color correction. Redo appointments are for clients that where displeased with their service and would like to make a change we are more than happy to make adjustments to your color or cut in a timely manner, with-in 7 days of your scheduled appointment. Please keep in mind that changing your original hair goals as discussed in the initial consultation is not considered and adjustment or redo. If you have any questions to concerns please contact your stylist or the salon for any questions.

PRICING

Services may vary in prices. Prices are dependent on length of hair, thickness of hair, time required for service, products involved, and stylists demand. Feel free to ask your stylist if you are unsure about pricing or schedule  a consultation so we can asses your hair goals.
